Terms of service

Effective 16 October 2026. These terms are between you and Right On Tech, which makes TunaCut. By installing the TunaCut apps or using TunaCut Cloud you agree to them.

What TunaCut is

TunaCut is a set of Windows applications — a multi-camera recorder, a teleprompter and an editor — and an optional online service, TunaCut Cloud, for keeping projects and settings in an account. The apps work on your own computer; your recordings and projects stay files you own.

Your content

You keep every right to what you record, edit and publish. You give Right On Tech permission to store and process content you send to TunaCut Cloud only as far as needed to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the rights to what you record and publish, including the consent of the people in it and licences for music and images you add.

Publishing to YouTube

The editor can upload videos to YouTube channels you connect. That feature uses the YouTube API Services, and by using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy; TunaCut's is in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use TunaCut to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to publish material that breaks the rules of the platform you publish to, or to attack, overload or probe TunaCut Cloud. We may suspend an account that does.

Accounts and devices

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and remove devices you no longer use from the Devices page. You are responsible for activity from devices signed in to your account.

Plans and prices are listed on the pricing page. Self-serve billing is not open yet; accounts are arranged directly with us, and any charge is agreed in writing before it applies. If a paid plan ends, nothing on your own computer stops working.

AI features and third-party services

Some features send project text or audio to AI providers using API keys you supply, and the cost of those calls is charged by the provider to that key. The app shows an estimate first. Their output can be wrong; check it before you publish it.

No warranty

TunaCut is provided "as is". We work hard to keep recordings safe and the service available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything that matters.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Right On Tech is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost recordings, lost revenue or lost data, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for TunaCut in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using TunaCut at any time and ask us to delete your cloud account. We may end the service with reasonable notice; if we do, you will have time to download what you stored.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new effective date, and material changes are announced in the app first. Questions: [email protected].
